
The Building Better Opportunities project brings together funding from the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund (ESF) to help tackle the poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged people in England.
Red Spark Learning CIC is looking to recruit Tutor for a fixed term of 15 months to teach a variety of subjects in response to learner need and associated with the project. The hourly rate which includes holiday pay is £19.76 an hour.
This post is fully funded by the European Social Fund and the Big Lottery Fund.
Skills required
This role will require travel so applicants must have a full driving licence and access to a car. Applicants must also undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Job Overview
The Tutor will devise and prepare courses as requested, producing the appropriate paperwork as determined by the contract funding the provision and Red Spark Learnings’ requirements and professional standards.
Source or create appropriate resources.
Deliver and manage the learning.
Responsibilities and Duties
Create and update paper work for course delivery and management as required by the contract funder and or Red Spark Learnings’ requirements and professional standards.
Ensure classroom, resources and practices meet health and safety requirements.
Ensure Red Spark Learning’s policies are adhered to and learners are aware of the safeguarding, health and safety, prevent, equal opportunities, British values and computer use policies.
Maintain professional development as required by the contract funder and or Red Spark Learnings’ requirements and professional standards.
Deliver courses and manage the learning and assessment to enable all students to have the best opportunity to attain the course’s aims and outcomes.
Evaluate the course reporting on any improvements that can be implemented.
