I was looking for a course to improve my IT skills and, after making enquiries with several other colleges, it became apparent that Red Spark offered the highest quality course, in terms of content. I have to say, they didn't disappoint!
I enrolled on the ITQ L1 (a free, Government funded course) as a very daunted/apprehensive, mature student. The course tutor, Sue, immediately put us all at ease. She is a lovely lady, (as are the rest of the team) and she has a huge amount of knowledge and patience! She encouraged me to persevere when I found the course really challenging and she delivered it in such a way that made the initially impossible, seem possible!

Computer Courses
If you don't feel confident using a computer you have come to the right place. We have courses for beginners (how do I turn it on?) and proceed to being confident in using digital skills safely.
Our computer courses are free to anyone who has not already obtained a level 1 in IT, and was over 19 years of age on the 31st August 2021, and lives in Herefordshire.
An Introduction to digital skills
Our 'Introduction to digital skills' course is a 6 week course, a 5 hours lesson once a week. The next course is starting in Hereford on the 1 st Feb 2022 and Leominster on 3rd Feb 2022.
The course is designed to give you the confidence to use a computer and use it safely.
We know Rome wasn't built in a day so after this course you will be invited to progress on to further courses to continue to improve your skills.

How it works:
We hold classes in Hereford and Leominster and students come every week to build up their skills. this continues for 6 week, with the option of continuing onto another 6 week course if they want to, ready to progress to the next level.
